This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Sony TV and Welcome to the Family on NBC. All opinions are my own.
Welcome to the Family is a show about two families from different cultures being brought together by their two teenagers. For better or worse, the two families have to learn to accept their differences and become one united family.
The actors Justina Machado and Ricardo Chavira play Miguel and Lisette Hernandez, the proud parents of a son who is graduating with top honors and leaving soon to Stanford. They are bursting with pride and so happy to have a son who can basically do no wrong, until they find out that Junior and his girlfriend Molly are having a baby. Unexpected grandchildren, in-laws they don't really care for: Dan Yoder (Mike O'Malley, "Glee," "My Name Is Earl") and wife, Caroline (Mary McCormack, "In Plain Sight," "The West Wing"), and now their sons engagement, the Hernandez's are completely thrown for a loop as their lives change from one day to the next.
You can catch Welcome to the Family on Thursday nights on NBC. Tomorrow night a special guest (Eva Longoria) will be causing a little bit of jealousy for soon-to-be grandmother Lisette. I don't think I would be too happy to find out that my boyfriend had dated Eva, would you? Watch with us and let's see how this all goes down! Catch all the episodes on NBC.
Tune into Welcome to the Family, Thursdays on NBC, 8:30c/7:30c.
