Do you have your Valentine's Day gift picked out yet? Today I want to chat about something you might not normally think about, a cell phone and Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web. A smart phone and unlimited service might normally be an expensive gift, but not with Walmart Family Mobile. You might recall that we switched over to this service last year, and because this is the lowest priced cell phone service we have found, we stayed with it. It's been almost 6 months and I feel great knowing that I have UNLIMITED talk, text and web for only $39.88. I am a student and have a very limited income and I was having a very hard time paying more than double before I made the switch. Walmart Family Mobile has allowed me to have an unlimited plan and I have even been able to add two of my sisters, at a savings of $5 per added line (up to 5 lines).

You might ask yourself what Walmart Family Mobile is lacking in order to be able to offer  great mobile service at such a low price, but as far I see it, they are not missing anything. In fact there are many pluses to be had, such as:

No contracts and no outrageous cancellation fees.
No credit checks, simply purchase your starter kit for $25 and choose your monthly service.
No inflated bills and no overages.
You can even bring your own phone.
T-Mobile service  at a Walmart price.

When the time comes to pay my bill every month, I don't have to cringe and pray for no overage fees. It sure is nice not to have to stress the phone bill.

I currently have the Nokia Lumia, which is a Windows phone and I love it. It's very fast, it's very cool looking and it lets me stay in touch with my loved ones as well as work. Maybe one day I can upgrade to the iPhone, but for now this is perfect. If I happen to break it because of how many times it falls in one day, I know I can replace it easy enough.

So my friends, these are the many reasons why it's simple to give the gift of cheap cell phone service. With phones under $100 and a very low monthly fee, you can take your tax refund and get your Valentine that cell phone they have been wanting. Or maybe your kids have been wanting their first cell phone? Well this is a great place to start. Visit a Walmart near you or go online to get all the info on #FamilyMobile. I think once you compare all the monthly costs, this could be a plan that can work well for you and the family. I love knowing that I have the same service as my boyfriend, yet I pay less than half! That, is smart savings.
