My hair is a huge part of me and I've always loved styling it. But now that I'm working I've had to learn how to cut back on that styling time by a lot. Since it's pretty long, curling and styling my hair could take me over 45 minutes on an average day. But I've learned how to cheat the style and still achieve a really great look. How did I cut my curl time by half? Let me show you!

Step 1: using the Goody Clean Radiance Paddle Brush, I brush out what is leftover from yesterday's curls or bun. The Goody® Clean Radiance™ brush has Copper bristles that massage the scalp and work through the hair to reduce buildup and restore your hair's natural moisture balance. Plus it's a really beautiful brush that looks great on my vanity.

Step 2: now we will take out hair and make a ponytail.
Step 3: starting from one side, we begin to curl the hair by taking small sections of hair. For this style I only curl from about mid-length.
Continue to curl all around the head.
Once you have finished your curls should look like this.
I've been curling my hair for a long time so getting these curls done only takes me about 15 minutes.
Step 3: Taking the ponytail out now we will run our hands through the curls to loosen them up. I flip my hair upside down and really run my hands through my scalp to give my hair more volume from the roots out.
Step 4: now I like to take either a salt spray texturizer spray or some dry shampoo and really spray it into the roots and into some of the curls to give them a chunky, messy look.
This is what the finished curls should look like.
This is where I might use a little bit of spray to hold the curl and fix my new bangs.
And we are done curling and styling our hair in about 25 minutes.
This is my go-to style and by using the ponytail method I really have cut it down by half. Even if I do happen to have the luxury of time, I rarely even go back to my old method of curling. Now I can wear my favorite style while saving a lot of time that I can enjoy doing something else.
My hair is a very important part of me and I have always taken very good care of it. One of the best ways to care for my hair is to use tools that don't overdamage it. Goody Brushes are some of the tools that I use to keep my hair, shiny, healthy and tangle free. Let me introduce you to just three of the brushes from the Goody Brush line.
  • Goody Gelous Grip Paddle Brush: A comfortable to use brush that helps with daily styling.
  • Goody Amp It Up Medium Round Brush:  This vented brush improves drying time and helps with styling especially in layered styles.
  • Goody Clean Radiance Paddle Brush: Show off beautiful, healthier looking hair with Goody® Clean Radiance™.
