Fall is finally here and I could not be more excited. Fall is my favorite season and each year I look forward to bringing all my fall winter clothing and accessories down from storage. In our area of California we only really get about a month and a half of fall before winter sets in, which means that every single second of fall has to be enjoyed.

Last weekend I was invited to the first fall event in town and because I haven't had time yet to pull out all of my fall gear, I wasn't sure what I would wear. Then I realized it was perfect timing because it's been about 10 weeks since I last colored my hair. What better way to change up my look for fall than to start with a fresh color-at-home. Today I am going to share how easily you can update your look for fall, starting with fresh hair color!

1: Shop for Schwarzkopf Color Ultime at Walmart: Wanting to go with a rich, espresso shade, I picked up a box of Schwarzkopf Color Ultime at Walmart. The shade I picked out is 3.1 in Espresso Black, perfect for the fall season and my fall wardrobe. 

2: Color your hair at home on your own time: Schwarzkopf Color Ultime offers vibrant fashion shades defy fading for up to 9 weeks of color and shine. For me it's important that my color lasts at least 9 weeks because I don't have time to mess with touchups in between. 

Schwarzkopf Color Ultime Instructions are included in the box along with all the products you will need including a really great conditioner that helps to really bring out the shine. 

3: Pull out your fall accessories: I haven't had time to completely take out my fall wardrobe and accessories from storage but adding something simple like a pair of rain boots to an outfit immediately makes it look like you're ready for a fall event or outing. 

I then pulled out one of my turtle neck sweater and jeans from Hollister and the look was complete. It's amazing what a difference a fresh hair color makes, because these are clothes and accessories that I already owned, the only real difference is my darker, richer hair color.  

Fall is my favorite season and now that I have my perfect fall hair color, I feel like I am ready to really enjoy the season. It really makes you feel like a brand new person.
