Disney Junior

Julius has one best friend, his name is Mickey Mouse. Mickey came into his life when Julius first started watching and dancing to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Junior. He was about one when this show really became his favorite and one day when we took him to The Disney Store he just about passed out upon spotting Mickey Mouse sitting on the shelf. He was just a baby and yet he pointed and pointed until my mom asked him if Mickey was his friend and if he wanted to take him home with him. That day a strong friendship between mouse and little boy was forged and since that day, you will rarely see them apart.

Julius back in December when him and Mickey were newly friends. So happy.

Every morning while Julius is having his three course breakfast, he watches Disney Junior with his pal at his side. His favorite shows are Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Doc McStuffins, and of course Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Hot Dog Dance. To tell you the truth, we are all fans of the hot dog dance, this happens when you hear it just about every day of your life. Both his father and I allow him to watch Disney Junior an hour or two every morning because it's not just entertaining and fun for him, it is also educational.

After breakfast the two friends hang out the rest of they day with their most recent addition to the group Piglet. The duo has now become a trio and it is so sweet to see how he refuses to part from them.

Today Julius went to the playground with his two pals and had a lot of fun spending his play time with them and his dad. Julius is a shy child who prefers to play alone, that is why these kinds of friends are great for him. Until he is ready to play with other kids, Mickey and Piglet are his pals and his confidants. I wonder how many years these two pals (and maybe a few more) will stick by his side. One day I want to see him have real friends, and go to birthdays and sleepovers, but for now my little boy is happy with his two stuffed pals.

Monday we started the 10-Day #DisneyJuniorFamilia Photo A Day Challenge and I invite you to join in the fun! Follow the topics outlined below and post them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the #DisneyJuniorFamilia hashtag. By submitting the photo on the Disney Juinior Facebook App, you can have your picture featured on tv.
