I love visiting the family because when I do we usually go shopping. Of course I am always in the need of some new makeup and clothes and my mom is really good about letting me get whatever I need. This is a small haul that I did last weekend while I was there shopping for the rest of the items for Julius's birthday party. For that it was mostly a lot of baking stuff and tons of candy for the candy bar we are having at the party. This stuff below was my share of the purchases.
(2) Jordana lip liners
(1) Jordana 12hr Liquid Eyeliner Pencil
(1) Loreal True Match concealer pencil
(1) Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous founation
(1) Loreal Telescopic mascara
One of my favorite Youtube beauty gurus loves this mascara and I have been looking for it for a while now. It's either always out of stock or completely gone in black. I finally got it and can't wait to use it.
This item is a repurchase and currently my very favorite foundation.
Having acne prone skin means that I always have a blemish or to that I need to cover and I am hoping this works as nice as it looks. One thing I noticed while swatching this is that it felt like it was going sideways. Not sure how to explain but it's like when you pull a tube of lipstick out too far and it will bend to the side? Well I didn't pull any of this any further than what you see and it felt like it was not anchored right. I did like how it blended into my skin though. It was nice and smooth and the coverage was nice.
My mom loves this Jordana pencil. She says she has purchased six now, a few backs ups for her and one for each of us. Priced at $2.49 this is very affordable and I can't wait to see if it lives up to her hype. One thing is for sure, this glides right on and is very pigmented.
Another item that gets a lot of hype on Youtube is the Jordana lip liner. Since I recently purchased a few plum fall lip colors, I got two liners to go with them. They seem as smooth and pigmented as the liner.
I am loving everything so far just by swatching it. Have not tried the mascara yet but I hope it's as good as they say it is. I really like the coverage of the True Match concealer, it even covered a birth mark on my arm.
If anything stands out in the end I will make sure to do a mini-review later. So far so good and we shall see for sure when I wear them all for full days.
Have you tried any of these items?
