I am lucky enough to be mom to the most beautiful boy in the world. Julius is a perfect example of how the most unexpected of gifts, can be the most wonderful. He came a little bit earlier than was planned. His dad and I had been together for a while but hadn't quite gotten around to planning children, when we were suddenly expecting. It was scary but at the same time it was the most wonderful news I had ever received. As soon as I knew Julius was inside me, I loved him more than anything in the world. While I am not condoning nor recommending for anyone to get pregnant before they are ready. I don't believe that it has to be the end of the world. Women are strong, we were made to survive and to rise above anything that is thrown our way. I am in school, I am a good mother to my son and I have many hopes and dreams for the both of us, that we will achieve. Being a mom has only made me stronger and more responsible.
You don't ever know what life has planned for you, but whatever it is, you can rise above it. I had no idea I would have this perfect little guy looking up at me with those amazing eyes of his, so soon. So I am a young mom, but I am still doing everything I had planned to do. Sure it's going a little bit slower and now I have a little person who I have to tend to before school. But we are handling it just fine between him, his father and I. All I know is that there is no way that I would ever go back, having him has been the best thing that has ever happened to me.

There are so many women in my life that are my role models. Many are women who have had not just one child, but many, at a young age and still achieved all their goals in life. I am just looking forward to it all, even the challenges. I know it's not always going to be as easy as it is now and we will hit some bumps in the road. But as long as I am with my son, I can handle it and I look forward to the challenges.
