Creating Special Family Moments #FamiliaLubriderm

After waiting months to be able to take Julius to Disneyland, we finally took the big trip last month. I've been wanting to take him ever since he was born, but I listened to all the people who said to wait till he was at least one. Now that he's walking it was a lot more fun and a whole lot easier than it would have been when he was younger. We made the trip with all of Mario's family, which made this trip even more for special for him and for sure it's going to be one of those special moments that sticks in his little heart.

Take an evening walk. We do this with my mom, my sisters and all the kids. Grab the stroller, the scooters and the baby buggy and take a walk around your neighborhood. We love going out in the early evening right before the sun is going to set, this is when you see all the families in the neighborhood out enjoying the beautiful evening.

Bake a dessert together. We are big dessert eaters, you name the dessert, we love it. You can get the kids together, wash their hands, and get down to the business of baking up some chocolate chip cookies or brownies. Kids make great stirrers and they love to help with scooping out cookie dough. Afterwards you can sit down with cold glasses of milk and enjoy the fruits of your labor. 

Just Dance! Julius loves music and he loves to dance, just like his dad. Sit in the living room and break out the jams. Next thing you know, everyone is going to be getting their groove on in the middle of the "dance floor". 

Story time is the best. Children love books and even the smallest little guy will sit down if there is a good book being read out loud. This is so important for a child's development and it really is a lot of fun to read out loud and make voices. It's better than tv.
