New Year, New Me, New Phone w/ Lowest Priced Unlimited Plans

It's the beginning of a new year and just like everybody else I have a few resolutions and goals. My main resolution amongst all of them is that i'd like to spend less time working and more time enjoying my son: in other words, work smarter not harder. Julius is two years old now and every time I look he is doing something different and growing up so fast. I'd hate to look back one day and think I could've spent more time with him than I actually did. I know this is something that parents struggle with on a daily basis, and right now I am in a good position of not having to leave my house for work. With careful planning I aim to work smarter, not harder and have more of that precious time to spend with Julius. With my brand new LG L90 and Lowest Priced Unlimited Plans, I can use my phone as a blogging tool to help me meet that goal.

As I have shared with you before, I've been with Walmart Family Mobile for about a year now and it's been a very budget friendly way for me to have that unlimited plan I need. Walmart Family Mobile service is $34.88/month for Unlimited Talk, Text, & Web ($29.88 for the second line) and it comes with 5GB of 3G Data. This higher speed is exactly what I need to get my work out of the way and have more time for fun. The phone my sister and I picked up to start off the new year is the LG L90 which is on current roll back of $119.00 (WAS $179.88). This is the other part that I love about Family Mobile, access to great phones at great prices.

I love being able to upgrade my phone every six months and not having to pay out hundreds of dollars to do so. Family Mobile is a contract-free service so I am not tied down to either the service or phone, which I know is something that many of my friends deal with. Having to wait two years to switch phones or having to sign a new contract every time? No thanks!

I have all my work apps right on my LG L90: Blogger, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Google Plus. During my lunch break from school I can quickly jot down some ideas on my notepad, or I can even start dictating a post on Blogger. 

Phone apps really make this so much simpler. Something that would normally require me bringing out the laptop, charger and notebook can now be easily taken care of from my cell phone. 

A quick update during dinner ? No problem.

All this leads to having that extra time to spend with the most important person in the world. 

We can goof around and take fashion selfies. talk to his dad on video chat or sit at home and watch Netflix together. 

2015 is going to be an amazing year work wise and family wise. I want to be more successful at what I do but I am going to do it in a smart way. That way me and this little guy can have plenty of quality time to spend together.
